The Committee on Ministry shall nurture pastors and congregations and carry forward all Church and Clergy functions as described in published standards and guidelines approved by the Board of Directors and the Annual Meeting. It shall encourage the formation of new churches, the renewal of existing congregations and assist in the transitions of local congregations in times of call and crisis. It shall help lay the basic foundation of Conference life with healthy congregations and skilled, well supported clergy and lay pastoral leadership.
